The Custom Group was established in February 1988. At this time the main activity was data installations within the financial centre of the City of London. The company grew steadily until the early to mid 90’s when the ‘Cablecomms’ industry expanded with the deregulation of the Telecommunications industry. Custom was strategically positioned to benefit from the industry developments and secured a number of contracts within the industry.

Through endeavour and quality of service we have retained these clients with further contracts thus enabling dramatic expansion within our portfolio spanning into many new areas of business. Moving on and now with over 10yrs experience in the MDU Field and TV arena we find ourselves in a unique market position offering a complete package of services unlike any other Company.

Custom MDU aims to make the UK’s switch to digital television as uncomplicated, effortless and straightforward as possible. To make that happen we focus on the two most important areas of our business: clear communication and quality engineering.

Working very closely with BSKYB, where we are one of only three UK business partners, we undertake approximately 4,000 installs or service calls daily. This has allowed us to invest heavily in growing other sectors of Custom and provide a wider range of services to benefit all our customers.
